Description
With Wild Tales, Berlin-based duo Santi & Tuğçe once again reclaim music as storytelling, this time with tracks in Turkish that move with brisk, groove-led energy while drawing their imagery from the natural world. “Wild” here is double-edged: the EP’s pulse is untamed and uptempo, yet its world is carved from walks under winter skies, encounters with swans, dreams from distant galaxies and an inner fire that fades and rises again.
Haiku Revisited is a nocturnal secret that drifts with the wind to the sea and asks “What good is beauty if you do not see it? Why does your heart beat if not for love?” Ayna (The Mirror) offers a glance through distant galaxies, invisible cities, and long forgotten apparitions that may be still here and watching. Yana Yana (Burning) is an ode to inner fire that flares and renews, rising phoenix-like from ashes. Kuğularla (With Swans) traces the hush of winter walks in a Berlin forest and a quite communion with swans in a strange, fleeting world.
Across the EP, electronic production and acoustic detail work in balance. Hooks land quickly, yet the lyrics reward a closer read. Wild Tales is concise and intentional—music made for movement, grounded in images that linger long after the last beat.
